21 days for Positive Change

Back in January 2013 The Adidem Group and The Body Shop rallied together to share their optimism and encourage everyone to Think Positive. In August we encouraged staff and customers to Act Positive by sending postcards to their loved ones thanking them for a kind gesture.

Positive Change was the third phase of our quest for positivity. It was all about providing people with the tools to make positive changes in their lives and in the lives of others.

It wasn‘t about making big changes in your life, or tackling the world’s problems on your own, but instead recognising that if we all make the effort to create positive habits, the overall effect can be strong.

There’s a popular theory that it takes 21 days of doing something new before it becomes second-nature. So we decided to put it to the test by making a positive change in our lives and sticking to it for 21-days.

Our store windows and offices across the country were decorated with our bright, comic book inspired campaign collateral. While staff customers and stakeholders took the opportunity to take a photo inside the life-size Agent Alexandria superhero cut out.

We distributed complementary 2014 calendars to our customers that were chock-full of quotes and ideas for making positive changes in their day-to-day lives. The calendars serve as a year-long reminder that by making positive changes we can become a better version of ourselves and create a better world for everyone to enjoy.
